Hampi is an ancient village in the south Indian state of Karnataka. It’s dotted with numerous ruined temple complexes from the Vijayanagara Empire. On the south bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple, near the revived Hampi Bazaar. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Southeast of Hampi, Daroji Bear Sanctuary is home to the Indian sloth bear.
Hampi or Hampe, also referred to as the Group of Monuments at Hampi, Hampi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, owing to the ancient temples, forts and other monuments here. Hampi was the capital of the Vijayanagar Empire around 1500 AD, and by some accounts, the second largest city in the world at that time.
Soon you arrive at Hubballi Airport in Hubli in the morning by flight and our representative will be waiting outside holding a placard with your name on it. You will then be taken to your hotel which is prebooked “ WelcomHeritage Shivavilas Palace“ where you rest and relax.
Post Lunch, Sharp 2 PM be at Lobby our driver will greet & meet you over here.
