About this tour

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is one of the most auspicious and challenging pilgrimages in the world. The pilgrimage involves a journey to the holy Mount Kailash, located in Tibet, and the nearby Lake Mansarovar. Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has been considered holy since ancient times and attracts Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, and Bon followers from different parts of the world. The journey of Kailash Yatra from Kathmandu starts with a scenic drive through beautiful landscapes and a visit to the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in the world.  After arriving in Kathmandu, pilgrims start the journey to Kailash from Nepalgunj, Nepal’s westernmost city, by air. From there, the journey continues to Simikot, where trekkers complete the first leg of the trip on foot, through beautiful and rugged Himalayan terrain. Pilgrims then reach the Chinese border town of Hilsa, where they complete the final leg of their journey by road. During the journey, pilgrims get to experience the culture and beliefs of different faiths and engage in various activities such as Puja, yajna, and meditation.  The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is an arduous and challenging journey, requiring physical fitness, mental strength, and a deep spiritual connect. It is considered one of the most soulful pilgrimages a devotee can undertake in their lifetime. The journey is full of breathtaking landscapes, ancient monasteries, and holy sites steeped in history and culture. The Yatra is an opportunity to experience divinity in all its glory, and it’s no wonder that so many people from different faiths embark on this journey year after year, seeking spiritual enlightenment and connection.
