The journey of Kailash Yatra from Kathmandu starts with a scenic drive through beautiful landscapes and a visit to the Pashupatinath temple, one of the most sacred Hindu temples in the world. After arriving in Kathmandu, pilgrims start the journey to Kailash from Nepalgunj, Nepal’s westernmost city, by air.
