Kasauli is a small hill town in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It’s home to gabled colonial-era houses, orchards and green-roofed Christ Church, dating from the mid-19th century. After the hearty breakfast, get ready for the sightseeing tour of the Manali hill station and visit the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Tibetan Monasteries and Vashist Village. Afternoon is free for your own leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Hadimba Devi Temple: People here worship Hidimba as a deity. According to a legend, Hidimba and her family used to live in the jungle near Manali. Bhim, one of the Pandavas, had killed her brother Hidimb and she eventually married Bhim. ... People here worshipped her as a deity for her good deeds. Manu Temple: This magnificent temple is dedicated to the sage Manu, who is said to be the creator of the world and the writer of Manusmriti. The Manu Temple is located in old Manali, at a distance of three kilometers from the main market. Though this area is quite congested, the presence of the River Beas adds to its attraction. The temple is one of the prime attractions in Manali and is believed to be the same place where sage Manu meditated after stepping on earth. Tibetan Monastries: The Tibetan Monastery in Manali is one of the major tourist attractions of the place. Many residents in the place make amazingly beautiful handicrafts by which they try and lure more customers with. People love buying this at attractive prices and take it as a memory from this place. Vashist Village: Founded by Guru Vashisht who was sole guru and teacher of Ram and Laxman. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht one of the seven sages of Hindu. According to the legend, Rishi Vashisht was left depressed on finding out that his children had been killed by Vishwamitra. Rishi Vashisht tried to commit suicide by jumping into a river but the river refused to kill him. The creation of the spring is associated with the belief that since Lakshman, did not want the sage Vashisht to have to walk too far for a bath; he shot an arrow into the ground, and the hot springs emerged.Vashisht offers an excellent view of the Beas River and the Old Manali. The river valley spread below at sunset gives an excellent sight and perfect for photography.

Here maa anjani prayed for a child namely hanuman. Water falls on shivlinga from mountain Gulaba Marhi: Gulaba is situated on the way to Rohtang Pass, on the Leh-Manali Highway. Named after Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir, the village is tucked in amidst picturesque snow-capped mountains and verdant green meadows, with the Beas River adding opulence and serenity to its beauty. some scenes of the famous Bollywood movie, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, were shot. Rohtang Pass: Rohtang in Ladhaki language means Bhoti which translates to a “Pile of Corpse”. The pass got its name because of the numerous people who died trying to cross the pass.
